Covid-19 update:  We disinfect all of our clothing and helmets in accordance with CDC recommendations daily.  We are offering free Balaclavas to those who are renting our helmets.  We have hand sanitizer at the sales and rental counters.  We are going above and beyond to do our part to stop the spread of Covid-19 and we ask that you do the same. 

 

Damage Waiver – The damage waiver covers damage to the snowmobile you rented.  It does not cover personal injury or damage to other snowmobiles/vehicles/people/property.

 

Damage Waiver – The damage waiver is available for all snowmobiles.  The cost is $25.00 per day per snowmobile.  The deductibles are $1500.00 for stock snowmobiles and $2500.00 for Arctic Cat Alpha, all Stage 2 and Turbo Snowmobiles.

 

Damage – If you damage a snowmobile while it is rented to you.  You do not get the damaged parts that are taken off.  These are property of Highmark Rentals. 

 

Clothing – We offer clothing for rent.  Most of our clothing is less than one year old.  We provide a balaclava with each helmet rental to prevent the spread of germs.  A full set of clothing includes (helmet, jacket, bibs, boots, and gloves).  The cost of a full set is $30.00 per day.  We also rent individual items as well.

 

Beacons – We offer Ortovox beacons for rent.  They are $20.00 per day

 

Radios – We offer BCA 2.0 radios for rent.  They are $20.00 per day

 

Backpack – We offer Ortovox backpack with shovel and probe for rent.  They are $30.00 per day

 

Avalanche Bag – We offer Ortovox avy pack with shovel and probe for rent.  They are $40.00 per day

 

Fuel – Our snowmobiles are full when you check them out.  We expect them back full of fuel.  If they are not full when returned, we will charge you for the fuel.  Please utilize only 91 Octane/Premium fuel when filling up the snowmobiles. 

 

Oil – We provide the oil for all of our snowmobiles.  We ask that if you rent multiple days, bring the snowmobile back every two days and we will fill the oil.

 

Rental Day – Snowmobiles are rented beginning at 8:00 A.M. on the first day of your rental.  They must be returned by 5:00 P.M. on the last day of your rental.  If you have them rented multiple days, you may keep them where you are staying.

 

Damage – You are responsible for all damage to the snowmobile while it is in your possession.  This includes any damage that occurs at the hotel.  Be advised we have many issues with birds destroying the seats at many of the motels in town.  You are responsible.

 

Late Fee – If the snowmobile is not returned by 5:00 P.M. on the last day of your rental there will be a minimum charge of $200.00 to your account.  If the snowmobile is not returned by 6:00 P.M. on the last day of your rental we will call the West Yellowstone Police Department and request Search and Rescue respond to look for you.

 

Recovery Fee – If we have to send out technicians to retrieve the snowmobile due to damage or getting into a situation where you cannot get out of, there will be a minimum charge of $200.00 added to your account.

 

Trail system – There are over 400 miles of groomed trails to ride the snowmobiles on.  We will provide you with a map of the trails.  The trails are marked at each intersection. 

 

Guides – We do not offer any guided trips.  We do have access to a guide that we recommend and can furnish his information upon request.

 

Yellowstone Park Tours – We do not offer trips into Yellowstone National Park. 

 

Snowmobile Conditions – Please utilize the mtavalanche.com to get the current conditions.  This will provide snow depths as well as avalanche conditions.

 

Island Park – We DO NOT offer free delivery to Island Park.

 

Lodging – We only recommend a select few hotels as well as VRBO’s in the area.  Please contact us for a current list.
