Premium West Yellowstone UTV Rentals

We are located just 150 feet from the trailhead of the West Yellowstone / Island Park trail system. You can ride directly from our lot straight to the dirt trails without any complicated logistics. 

Full-day rentals can start and stop any time between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., so your group is free to be on your own schedule.  If we're able to do a same-day or next-day half-day rental, the times are typically 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. when available.  If possible, we may be able to offer other time options, but this depends on what our rental day looks like.

During the summer, rentals are available Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and every day during the Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends. 

UTV rental season runs from late May to early September.  But we answer the phone daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the year.  

Yes! West Yellowstone, MT is an incredibly off-road-friendly town with immediate trail system access, allowing you to begin your mountain adventure right from our rental location.

No. Only cars are allowed in Yellowstone during the summer.  However.... there are 400 miles of trails in the National Forests surrounding West Yellowstone and Island Park, ID where you can ride our UTVs.  And the scenery is just as beautiful outside the park!! You'll love it!

There are over 400 miles of UTV trails to ride in the National Forests that surround West Yellowstone, MT and Island Park, ID.  We're the closest shop to the main trailhead, and we'll provide you with physical and digital maps and show you exactly which trails to ride based on what your group is interested in.  For a sneak peak of some of the trails you'll be riding, check out our Summer Trail Guide.

Renting UTVs: To rent a UTV, you must be 18 years old and have a credit card in order to book a rental.  

Riding UTVs: There are no age limits on who can ride in a UTV.  If you have a car seat for your small children, we can even strap that in to the side-by-side just like a regular car.  

Driving UTVs:  If a parent or grandparent wants to allow their child/grandchild to drive a rental, we’re all for it.  We believe the parent knows the child better than we do, and if parents feel comfortable letting them drive a UTV, we have no issues.  The machine is checked out to the parent, and they’re free to allow whoever they want to allow to drive it. Ultimately, the parent will be held responsible for the operators and any damage to the machine no matter who drives it. 

We believe in fair pricing. Instead of charging a high flat-rate fee for fuel like other shops, you simply return the vehicle with a full tank. You only pay for what you use, and there are multiple gas stations within 4 blocks of our location for an easy top-off.

We rent top-of-the-line Polaris RZR sport models (2-seaters) and family friendly Can-Am Defender MAX HD11 utility models (4 to 6-seaters). 

While people use terms like ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle), 4-wheeler, UTV (Utility Task Vehicle), and Side-by-Side (SxS) interchangeably, we specialize in modern Side-by-Sides. Our Polaris and Can-Am machines feature steering wheels, bucket seats, seatbelts, and protective roofs for maximum safety and comfort. 

Yes!  We sell our rental fleet at the end of every season.  We keep a list of everyone who's interested and call them in August to go over options.  If you'd like to be added to the list, let us know while you're here or give us a call at (406) 646-7855.
